Madrasah Irsyad Building Fund (MIBF)
Soaring Costs of Utilities
Due to the energy crisis, the water and electricity bills have been extremely high, which causes a strain on the budget. Annual costs are expected to reach about $200,000 per year.
We might consider a 'green' section to our capital development plan, which will see the Madrasah investing in energy-saving strategies and investment in a solar panel scheme.
The usage of utilities consists of below:
Electricity
• Air conditioner
• Lights
• Fans
• Projector
• Others (electrical appliances, etc..)
Water
• Water dispenser for every level
• Toilets usage for every level
• Wudhu for prayer, washing of amenities, plants and gardening, etc…
High Costs of Facilities Management
In order to ensure that the school is kept clean, there are ample security to ensure the safety of the students and staff, and that any types of building defects are being looked into, a high amount of maintenance costs need to be incurred each month. Maintenance costs amount to about $240,000 per year.
Every amount is significant to our beneficiaries. Please help us, help someone’s dream come true by contributing to our cause.
