Notes to Applicants
(for online application)
P1 2018 Registration is only for children born on or between 2 Jan 2011 – 1 Jan 2012. If your child does not fall within this category and you wish to apply for admission into Madrasah Irsyad, application for transfer in for all other levels will only be opened in November 2017 (for admission in Jan 2018), subject to available vacancies. Your child may also be required to sit for an Admission Test. Please obtain a separate Application Form from the General Office.
Submission of Documents Form & Reply Card
Please ensure that you obtain the Submission of Documents Form and Reply Card when you submit your documents at the General Office. The Submission of Documents Form must be duly completed as we need to check against your online application.
As for the Reply Card, you only need to fill your child’s/ward’s full name and your address. The reply slip will be posted to the address as stated by you on the card. Please write legibly. If there is any subsequent change of address, please inform the Madrasah immediately at telephone no 64787133 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Madrasah will not be responsible for cards that are lost in mail or cards that do not reach you in time.
The Madrasah General Office is open for P1 registration-related matters from 8am to 4pm on weekdays and from 8am to 12pm on Saturday.
Submission of Documents
The following photocopies of documents need to be submitted personally at the General Office during the registration period. Note that there will be NO photocopy service provided. We trust that all information/documents furnished and submitted are true and correct. You do not need to show the original documents on Registration Day. However, where there is a need for verification, we will let you know accordingly.
- Child’s Birth Certificate
- Both parents’ NRIC/Passport
- Marriage Certificate (for applicants with step-parent)
- K1 results
- Other relevant documents (Custody documents, divorce certificate, death certificate etc.)
- Certificates of Achievements (if any)
Note : We do not require the submission of child’s Health Booklet/Immunisation Record at this point.
If you do not have any of the required supporting documents on Registration Day, kindly send them to the Madrasah either by post or personally within a week to the address below. It is important that you write your child’s name on the photocopied documents before submission.

Submission of Application
An admin fee of $20 per application is payable at the point of submission of documents. Please attach the photocopied documents to the ‘Submission of Documents’ form issued. To speed up the process, no receipt will be issued. Instead your form will be stamped ‘PAID’.
Entrance Test Day, 8 April 2017
The test will be held at the Madrasah on Saturday, 8 April 2017. It will commence at 9.00am sharp. Registration will start at 8.00am. Please proceed to the Registration Counter to mark your child’s attendance and collect his/her number tag and labels. Your child will be brought up to the classroom by our student leaders. Parents are kindly requested to wait for your child at the mosque or the canteen. Children will not be released during the breaks. They will remain in the classrooms. Food and drinks will be provided by the school.
Applicants will be informed of the results of their application through post by 8 May 2017, insyaAllah.
