Notes to Applicants
P1 2019 Registration is only for children born on or between 2 Jan 2012 – 1 Jan 2013. If your child does not fall within this category and you wish to apply for admission into Madrasah Irsyad, application for transfer in for all other levels will only be opened in November 2018 (for admission in Jan 2019), subject to available vacancies. Your child may also be required to sit for an Admission Test. Please obtain a separate Application Form from the General Office.
The Child must be a Singapore citizen, permanent resident or Dependant Pass holder. Long-term Visit Pass holders are not accepted.
All applications for P1 2019 can only be done online, and will start on 24th March 2018. No offline (hardcopy) application forms will be provided at the Madrasah’s General Office.
Submission of Documents
After registering online, the following photocopies of documents need to be submitted personally at the General Office during the registration period. Note that there will be NO photocopy service provided. We trust that all information/documents furnished and submitted are true and correct. You do not need to show the original documents. However, where there is a need for verification, we will let you know accordingly.
- Child’s Birth Certificate
- Both parents’ NRIC/Passport
- Marriage Certificate (for applicants with step-parent)
- K1 results
- Other relevant documents (Custody documents, divorce certificate, death certificate etc.)
- Certificates of Achievements (if any)
Note : We do not require the submission of child’s Health Booklet/Immunisation Record at this point.
An admin fee of $20 per application is payable in cash at the point of submission of documents. To speed up the process, no receipt will be issued. Instead your documents will be stamp “Paid”.
The Madrasah General Office is open for P1 registration-related matters from 8am to 4pm on weekdays and from 8am to 12pm on Saturday.
Entrance Test Day
The test will be held at the Madrasah on Saturday, 14 April 2018. It will commence at 9.00am sharp. Registration will start at 8.00am. Please proceed to the Registration Counter to mark your child’s attendance and collect his/her number tag and labels. Your child will be brought up to the classroom by our student leaders. Parents are kindly requested to wait for your child at the mosque or the canteen. Children will not be released during the breaks. They will remain in the classrooms. Food and drinks will be provided by the school.
Applicants will be informed of the results of their application through post by 14 May 2018, insyaAllah.
